A Note from Donna
When I started this project I was afraid that I wouldn’t have enough photos to tell a complete story of our day, but in the end I had to edit my options down to the 14 you see above. I think that the photos together with the journaling do form a complete and fairly accurate depiction of one of our days. It’s been almost a year since I did a day in the life project and I’m glad to have done it again.
As for the design, I love making grid-style layouts. This particular one was inspired by an ad we got one Sunday from the In-N-Out Burger Foundation. I knew I wanted to keep the photos in color and so I kept the rest of the design pretty simple. There are no patterned papers aside from the striped scalloped paper underneath the title and only one embellishment.
In one day we: went for a walk around our neighborhood, played with our cars and had races, enjoyed oranges from our neighbor’s trees, did laundry, put all the winter pjs away and replaced them with the summer ones, ate lots of yummy food including popcorn which we shared while watching a movie, made food bags for the homeless, checked email, took baths, had an all-around great & amazing day. May Fun Fact
My family and I go to In-N-Out Burger every Sunday after mass. It is the only time we eat out all week and is one of our boys’ favorite things to do. Every time we pass an In-N-Out Nathan has to yell, “Hi, In-Out!”
