A Note from Marcy
A year or so ago I spent a lot of my summer taking wedding photos. It was a lot of fun, but high stress at the same time. It was really nice to give a young couple beautiful photos of their special day. I decided to scrapbook a photo from one of my last weddings (I don't shoot them anymore) since the photos from my wedding are super traditional, staged and not at all me.
It was a lot of fun to shoot weddings and give people the kind of wedding photos I wish I had. I did it for a couple of years. It was a lot of work and a lot of editing. In the end my kids just missed me too much.
July Fun Fact
My wedding (12 years ago) was traditional. Lots of people, traditional photographer, the same menu that everyone had for weddings in my town, and so on. If we could do it again we'd do low key and simple. Back then I wasn't brave enough to break out of the box and make my wedding my own.
