12 x 12 | materials patterned paper (Basic Grey, Crate Paper) + alphabet stamps (Jenni Bowlin) + alphabet stickers (Echo Park) + ink (Close to my Heart)
A Note from Amy
Yes, it's true: the photo on this layout is almost 11 years old! I've been cleaning out my scrapping space and came across an envelope of 5x7s. It's a treasure-trove of great (albeit older) photos, and I couldn't resist immediately scrapping this one. (I also cut up yet another watermelon on the same day!)
My five products are:
1. green patterned paper
2. a scrap of pink patterned paper
3. khaki alphabet stickers
4. alphabet stamps (these have quickly become my favorite alpha stamps)
5. stamping ink
(I didn't count the white cardstock or the font as a supply.)
It seems like everyone has a different way to fix watermelon. Grandma Beth slices hers in big circles on paper plates. Aunt Cindy cuts wedges with the rind still on. I like to cut up the entire melon all at once, so there are chunks always ready to eat. Haley and Jake like to nibble on the rinds when I’m finished, and I confess: I always cut it so they have lots of juicy bits left. Because watermelon? It is sweet and refreshing and delicious and fragrant, the veritable flavor of summer!
July Fun Fact
I have fallen in love with silver fingernail polish!
