Bubble Hair-do | Emily Spahn

Bubble Hair-do | Emily Spahn

8.5 x 11 | materials patterned paper (American Crafts, Crate Paper, Echo Park, Lily Bee, My Mind's Eye, October Afternoon) + thickers (American Crafts) + button (American Crafts) + Washi Tape (American Crafts) + doily (Studio Calico)

A Note from Emily My five items are 1. Paper (Patterned and Cardstock…maybe a bit of a cheat!) 2. Thickers 3. Button 4. Doily 5. Washi Tape. I didn't include things like the staples and the adhesive in my count! I tend to be a pretty simple scrapper to begin with (embellishments scare me sometimes!), so this was a perfect assignment! I often say I can could totally survive with kraft cardstock, patterned paper, and some kind of alphabet, which is pretty much what I had here, sans the kraft! ;)

Grandma Lisa found a recipe for the "best bubbles ever." You were mildly entertained by the bubbles but had much more fun "washing your hair" with the bubble solution. Messy, but totally cute! 7.2.2011

July Fun Fact
Our summers are filled with fun weekends. We spent most weekends out and about…often traveling to our home state of Wisconsin to spend time with family. Some of my favorite activities include visiting the Dane County Farmer's Market (one of the largest in the nation), fishing on Lake Michigan, and spending time in Door County. The picture on this layout came from one such trip last summer!
