A Note From Elizabeth
It’s very hard for me to pick one favorite, but this photo ranks very high on the list of favorite photos I took in 2009. It’s one of my favorites for so many reasons: the subject matter, the composition, the color, and the memory of being at the Tidal Basin with dear friends and family. I find myself far more motivated to scrapbook photographs that fit in the “favorites” category, and as my photography has improved over the years, I find I have more photos in that category. I guess that makes my Public Service Announcement for 2010 to work hard on your photography—it makes scrapbooking ever so much more fun!
Additional Note: I made this page for my Big Picture Scrapbooking class, Inspiration Defined. It normally takes me hours to put a page together, especially when it’s for an assignment or class; but another benefit of scrapbooking a beloved favorite photo is that it often comes together perfectly in a very short amount of time.
