A Note from Donna
I took this photo of my son Nathan stirring the custard for the pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving morning last year. In the photo, Nathan's hand is blurred from stirring. This little guy never stops moving. Never. Well, he's actually a very peaceful sleeper, but that's about the only time he is still! He never stops talking either. It is an interesting experience to have a child who is nothing like you. He has taught me so much about patience and love, and I am so thankful that God brought him into my life.
The gratitude card that is featured on this layout is part of a gratitude journaling set made by Crystal Wilkerson. I used the card as a title for the page and as a prompt for the journaling. This photo embodies a small piece of Nathan’s personality for me, and I thought that it went together well with this particular quote. You can read more about this layout and the gratitude cards in this blog post that I wrote for Ella Publishing.
