A Note from Melissa
I'm pretty literal when it comes to interpreting guidelines, so I counted each actual item separately. However, I did cover a chipboard number with patterned paper and only counted it as one item since that's how it shows up on the page. And I accommodated my need for more journaling space by putting three of the spots together in PSE and then printing & cutting them as one piece.
I nearly panicked when I was finished and realized that the background is technically a sheet of patterned paper. But I consoled myself with the fact that cardstock didn't count, and I simply chose a patterned instead of solid piece as my base. :)
September Fun Fact
I recently threw caution to the wind and painted my toenails a shade other than red or pink for the first time ever. Turquoise is Pantone's 2010 Color of the Year, so I should be safe.
