A Note from Vivian
I interpreted the five product theme by type of product (with cardstock and pen as freebies): 1. Patterned paper, 2. Letter stickers, 3. Dimensional stickers, 4. Word stickers, 5. Brads.
A significant portion of my time in Russia was spent in pursuit of the perfect matrioshka set. I was fascinated by all of the different variations – sets that were families, sets that retold fairy tales, sets with pop culture themes, and many more. Moscow 1992
September Fun Fact
I came home from my summer study abroad program in Russia with a matrioshka set for my mother (each one holding a different kitchen item), my sister (a family), my grandmother (Russian fairy tales), my religion-major roommate (monks and nuns), and me (scenes from St. Petersburg). If memory serves I brought home more for other friends and family, but after nearly twenty years I can’t remember!
