A Note from Aliza
When I started to think about shapes, I first went straight to my favorite shape-- a square. I printed square photos, and fit most of my elements in a grid within a square frame. And then I contrasted all that square-ness with a bunch of circles. It’s hard (for me) to make a layout nowadays without some sort of arrow, and these wood veneer arrows allowed to include arrows and circles in one fell swoop.
Oh, I know this type of physical affection will ultimately end with some form of rough-housing, and you will both insist that you like it. At first. Meanwhile, I choose to just enjoy the cute and sweet part while it lasts.
April Fun Fact
My husband and teenage son have been watching The Walking Dead, and I've been joining in the fun here and there. But in the last week, I've woken up twice from scary zombie dreams. I might have to come to terms with the fact that I am not quite cut out for this show.
