A Note from Celeste
This year when we went on our annual trip to Cape Cod, I thought I would bring supplies and a Smash book and document as I went along. Unfortunately, the car was so full I had to leave my scrap supplies behind. I didn't let that deter me though. At the last minute I grabbed a small notebook, a pen, and 7 large envelopes. Each day on vacation, I took notes on the places we went and the different things we did. I picked up ephemera as I went through the week and used one marked envelope a day to keep it all together. When I returned home, I had already pulled all my supplies so I edited all the photos using the Pioneer Woman's Seventies action and printed them two to a 4x6 canvas at Walgreen's. The photo quality is not up to my usual standards, but I figured I'd just go with it. I brought everything to a six hour crop and completed an entire Smash book in one evening. I didn't get hung up on design and used my own handwriting as I went along referring to my notebook the entire way. It's a fun little album and my kids have enjoyed looking through it. Definitely an easy way to document a vacation!
March Fun Fact
This month I get to go on a ski trip. It would be great if I skied!
