4 x 6 cards
A Note from Rachel
My husband’s birthday is just around the corner, and this year, I’m giving him a way to record memories that I’m not part of. Don’t get me wrong, my husband is a very important part of my life, but we have very different hobbies. I love scrapbooking, reading, and jogging. He loves hunting, fishing, and biking. To help him document the man-tivities (as he calls them) that I don’t attend, I made him a 24-card set of masculine journaling cards that he can pair with 4 x 6 photos and slip into any photo album. I hope that these cards will provide a way for him to preserve some of the exciting stories he tells after one of his manly retreats.
Design & Printing Tip
I created these cards in Microsoft Word. Since I don’t have a 12 x 12 printer, I set up a 6 x 12 custom document size and included three cards on each page. Then I cut my 12 x 12 sheets of patterned paper in half and ran them through my printer. This is a great way to save a bit of time and paper.
