My name is Francine but online I’m known as scrappyfran or raggafran.
Generally I feel as if I am 20 years old. 40 is the new 20 right?
My favorite movie is The Sound of Music! I've seen it over 20 times and know all the lines by heart!
During my life, I have lived in seven different countries, most of them in the Caribbean.
One of the most defining moments of my life was when I graduated with my engineering degree.
My camera is a Canon 350D (Rebel), and my favorite lens is the 50mm.
When I scrapbook, I must have kraft cardstock and American Crafts Thickers.
Though I began scrapbooking in 2002, I don't think I found my groove until 2006 when I stopped doing swaps and started using all the "good" patterned paper that I was hoarding.
My favorite scrapbooking colors are neutrals paired with greens and blues.
You might notice that many of my pages include kraft cardstock!
Francine hails from the tiny Caribbean island of Grenada and has been scrapbooking since 2002. She is an avid amateur photographer, and you will rarely find her without her trusted Canon 350D. Her work has been published in major magazines such as Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbook Trends, and Memory Makers. She currently designs for Banana Frog, is the scrapbooking editor at Craft Gossip, and was selected as a Simple Gal for 2009. Francine currently lives in France with her husband Lucas, newborn son Kieran, and their cats Mozaique and Naâla. Truly an island girl, she spends the winter months holed up at her desk, scrapping her heart out.
