12 x 12 | materials patterned paper, letter stickers (Studio Calico, My Mind’s Eye) + butterfly punch + adhesive pearls
A Note From Angie
I usually scrapbook with 4 x 6 photos, and I print them out as I need them to my Epson Artisan 700. I don’t usually print photos I don’t have specific plans for. For this layout, I printed two fun photos of my extended family and placed them on an oversize mat with a simple title and some journaling that I quoted directly from my journal. This may be my new favorite color combination! It feels so fresh and yet so vintage at the same time. (I used the die-cut machine at my local scrapbook store to cut the butterflies out of some paper scraps I had on hand, adding rows of adhesive pearls for a classic touch.)
August Fun Fact
While in college, I was a summer intern for the “Today” section of Salt Lake City’s biggest newspaper. I wrote play and concert reviews, interviewed minor celebrities over the phone, wrote feature stories, and tagged along with reporters. Good times!
