A Note From Elizabeth
I love to highlight event photos at 4 x 6 size in a big collage/two page spread. I don't like to cut photos in half to fit on a two-page layout, but it's easy to shift everything to the right and catch the page split so it disappears inside the collage. It's also easy to add more photos; I could easily have fit two more portrait photos on the right, but chose to include some white space instead (and since we took more than a few photos from the visit with our dear friends, I will be making some more pages to create a series of layouts about the same visit).
We were counting down the days until the Karahalises moved back west—all is right with the world again and Camp Dillow-Karahalis is back in summer session for 2010. Hip hip hooray!
August Fun Fact
I'm not sure if I've decided it's fun yet, but my daughter Gracie will begin full-day kindergarten this month. I know it will be fun to hear all her school stories—I just have to get used to the idea of her being gone all day first!
