I shared my very first scrapbook page on my blog a few weeks ago when we were all celebrating the end of the magazine. It was hard to put that out there for the world to see. I just can't bring myself to post it again. So I figured I'd embarrass myself even more and share another doozy. This was maybe the 20th page I scrapped. The rest of those first couple albums(baby albums) are actually quite clean and simple. Mostly multi-photo two pagers that answer the who, what, where, why and when of the photos. This one however is a doozy!
Ok...you can stop snickering now. I was experimenting!The cut photo is what makes me cringe the most. Well that and the stickers that are as big as my baby! The story is there I guess and the best part was as I pulled the two baby albums out, the boys huddled around. My husband came in and we flipped through the books reading the journaling and sharing the stories. So even though this page is not my favorite, my boys smiled and laughed. Adam even asked about the title which made me happy that I had written down his nickname.
These days I prefer the rectangle to the square. I tend to use computer journaling and rarely place a sticker on my page. Some things haven't changed though. My most favorite subjects are still my two boys and the adventures we share. Here's my big boy all grown up, almost eight here. He's turning into a fine young man!
