Good morning! Friday is finally here and I am more than ready to get out there and enjoy this summer day. Before I do, though, I want to share one more tip for scrapbooking your summer photos. It's a little strategy I like to call Reheat and Reuse. Now if you've been reading along all week you know that 1) I take a lot of summer photos and 2) I like to scrapbook said photos with single-photo layouts, multi-photo spreads and mini books. But what you might not know is that once I'm finished scrapbooking our summer memories, I'm left with a very messy table and a stack of unused photos. So what do I do with the leftover photos? Why, Reheat and Reuse of course!
I like to call this the summer summary page (try saying that ten times fast!). All you do is mix a handful of extra summer photos with some simple bullet point journaling and you've got a leftover meal, um layout, to share with your family.
Now if scrapbooking stacks and stacks of summer photos just isn't your bag, then you can easily adapt the same recipe to serve as the main course:
(Ahem, yeah, imagine a nice even pick border around this layout. It pains me, PAINS me I tell you, to see it all crooked like that!)
Again, mix a handful of summer photos with easy bullet point journaling and you've potentially scrapbooked your whole summer with just one layout. How liberating!
