Well scrappy friends, it's been a fun ride with you this week! Thanks for letting me share my passion about childhood/heritage scrapping with you. I hope it's inspired you to scrap more of your own story. I have loved looking at your pages in the flickr gallery, and have been inspired by you! Thanks so much for sharing your pages and stories with us. For my final post today, I thought I'd share some of your pages and how they inspired me. I won't share all of the pages for lack of space, but believe me when I say it was hard to narrow it down--they were all fabulous pages!! I love how Marnie journaled about some reading memories and how her love of reading came about from her childhood experiences. Her simple effective design lets her photo and journaling shine.

Celeste's page is about her memories from the library she frequented in her childhood hometown. Since she didn't have a photo of it, she found this one and got permission to use it. Very clever, and a lovely page to boot!

Cheryl photographed a family heirloom and journaled about why it is so special to her. What a fabulous idea, and a beautiful page!

Two things I love about this pretty page: 1) She journaled just the facts. Sometimes that's all we have, but it's still important that these things are recorded. 2) She created a digital page. Heritage scrapbooking is a great way to delve into digital if you haven't. That way you can create digital photobooks that other relatives can order if they'd like a copy.
