Here we are at the end of our 2 weeks of celebrating Thanksgiving, and what better word to finish it off with than GRATEFUL?
There has been much buzz around blogland the past month on this theme, and it seems like everyone has hopped on the gratitude bandwagon. There are gratitude journal blogs, 'grateful' Flickr groups, and Facebook status updates with people posting what they're grateful for on a daily basis.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a wonderful thing, and I'm excited that this very positive affirmation has caught on in such a big way. It's been uplifting to read some of these thoughts, and many of them have made me downright emotional. Flickr has had some photos posted in Gratitude groups there that have brought a tear to my eye because of their sheer beauty. It's been very inspiring to see how one little word has had such a major impact on an entire community.
So to end off our 2 weeks, here are two layouts done on the 'Grateful' theme. The first is by the amazing Linda Barber- I love her take on this topic, her sleek design, and that she used this photo of her marshmallow yams from Thanksgiving a few days ago. Brilliant!
And my more obvious take on this theme, about my love and gratitude for my guys:

Thanks for playing along with us these past two weeks - it's been huge fun!
