For those of you who can't view today's video, here's what you need to know:
1. Cut your ribbon into 5 inch long strips. Twenty-seven of them to be exact.
2. Cut your patterned papers into one 7x5 inch block, one 4x5 block, and twenty-seven 3x5 blocks.
3. Cut each sheet of mounting board into eight 7x5 blocks using the template you see below (you need 14, you'll have 2 extras). You can get it cut in the framing department of Michael's, Hobby Lobby or your local art store if you don't have a trimmer that can fit the 15x20 board. Or, you can draw the template on your boards and use a magnetic trimmer, or do what I did and use your craft knife and a ruler to cut the board into smaller blocks, and then finish it with your trimmer.
4. You can also use fourteen 7x5 sheets of chipboard if you'd rather do that. Just make sure whatever you use is archival quality (acid free, etc.)Once you've cut your ribbon, patterned papers, and mounting board (or chipboard), you're ready for part 3 tomorrow. See you then!
