II'm delighted to be back and blogging with you this week! Our theme
for this week is BIRTHDAYS, in case you somehow missed the title. :)
A few months ago I begged and pleaded with the WCS "powers that be" to let me blog in March. The reason? In our little family of four, we celebrate three birthdays in the month of April. You heard me right! Yes, April is a crazy time of year for us. And by "us" I mostly mean "me."
I love to celebrate birthdays. It's my way of showing the people I care about that I'm so very glad they were born. So this week, all week, we're talking about birthdays.
Here's what we're looking at for those of you who, like me, like to plan ahead:
Monday - celebrating birthdays, remembering birthdays
Tuesday - birthday invites
Wednesday - birthday party decorating ideas
Thursday - one pretty amazing giveaway, so stay tuned!
Friday - birthday gift ideas, party favors, etc.
Saturday - documenting birthdays
Ready to get started? Here we go!

Let's
start out with a little confession, shall we? I'm terrible at
remembering birthdays. In fact, I very nearly forgot my only little
nephew's birthday. terrible, right? It gets worse. he and I share a birthday. Oops!
Of course, I might never have nearly forgotten my little nephew's birthday if I'd had one of these hanging in my office like I do now.
I made this in one short afternoon using the following:
- SRM 6x6 pre-made calendar and stickers
- October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers
- Random buttons
- The title from the Silhouette store, by Quickutz
- And these frames by Katie Pertiet over at Designer Digitals
