No man needs a vacation so much as the person who has just had one.

Hello everyone! It's my first time hosting the Write.Click.Scrapbook blog all by myself so bear with me while I figure things out. As you might have gathered the theme for this week is scrapbooking vacations. Like most scrapbookers I take many, many photos while on vacation. Every year we take a trip to Ireland to visit my folks, and we do a few shorter trips to closer destinations also. Lots of trips means lots of photos and stories to scrapbook!
Over this week I'm going to present different ways of scrapbooking your travels. Today's focus is on creating a general layout to cover the whole vacation. Simply select your favorite photos from the trip and use all of them on one layout.
You can create a collage using Big Huge Labs like Lisa did here. She says that she when the mosaic is loaded, she saved it to her computer, opened them into a WORD document and printed it. No fancy photo-editing program needed!
Celeste used a digital cluster frame from Katie Pertiet to easily group all her photos. She also used list-style journaling to document all her favorite things from the trip. Way to make things easy for yourself Celeste!
Here's one I made using all my favorite photos from our trip to Lake Winnisquam in NH this summer. My photos were all printed out on one 4x6 photo canvas. Check out this tutorial at Get It Scrapped if you need help creating your own photo printing templates.
And one more layout - Vivian made this beautiful 2-page spread that features 8 of her favorite photos from her trip to Ogunquit, ME. She cropped regular 4x6 photos to 4x4 to fit into this clean and simple design.
Thanks for stopping by - come back tomorrow when I'll be talking about scrapping the details of your trip!
