We may still be in the throes of Summertime Dailies here at Write. Click. Scrapbook. but our summer ended last Tuesday when the kiddos attended their first day of school. Hi there! Monika Wright here and this SAHM is still trying to adjust to having no kids at home to stay-at-home for. I'm sure I'll get used to it in time, but for now...it's an odd feeling.
So, remember this mini album project the girls helped me design? Remember when I said that I would be back today to share our results?
Total bust. We have the albums ready to fill but we only have half the photos for our color scavenger hunt on the disposable cameras taken, so sharing time will have to come at a later date. I will share it though, even if it might only be on my own blog.
That said, and because most of you are still enjoying summertime, I'll share this mini album with you instead. I documented our Summer of 2010 in mini book form, but looking at it, it's kind of a maxi mini, isn't it! If you've never undertaken a project of this nature, I strongly encourage you to give it a try... you won't be disappointed in the moments you capture with the written word as well as with your camera. It's a project worth every single hour you put into it.
The pages below are presented in the same order as they appear in the mini-album, just click on the images and they will open in a new window.
Listed below are posts where I've discussed the details of my Summer in the Life mini-album process, the page design and how-to's.
play | laugh | splash | chill
If you have any questions, I'll be happy to try to answer them for you. Enjoy the rest of your summer fun!
