Bet you all didn't know I had a silly side, too, right?
I was trying to be all cool and superstar-ish with my head shot and I'm not quite sure I succeeded, but Summer's all about having fun, so I'm sticking with it. For today at least.
Traditionally, June is a huge month for weddings, at least here in the United States. On Wednesday of this week, my husband and I celebrated 14 years of marriage and we were lucky enough to spend the whole day together, it was bliss! I made a list of 14 things to do on our 14th Anniversary, but I'm not yet finished with that mini book, so I thought I would share a mini book I made as a gift to him several years ago.
I had just a few strap hinge album pages left {do they even make those anymore} and challenged myself to tell a story in just 4 pages. It's short, it's sweet and it tells him that I notice everything he does for our family. Here, we are sitting in our favorite chairs in front of the fireplace, drinking our coffee on a lazy Winter Saturday morning. You guessed it, he thought I was goofy taking a picture of his hand.
Each page has a journaling spot sticker which I mounted on some cardstock and then fussy cut around before adding foam dots on the back. These are buckeyes, and when Gordon opened it up, it had three nuts inside. And we have three kids, so yes, I just had to take a photo of that.
Working in the garden early one Saturday morning before it got too hot and too gnat-y. Ugh, hate those things.
I've made other Anniversary albums for my Sweetie...
