Hi everyone. Laura here to talk about stamping.
Today I want to offer up some workflow tips to motivate you to pull out your stamps more often.
For me the big chores with stamping are taking everything out, cleaning up, and then putting everything away. The actual stamping is the fun part, the rest not so much. What I try to do, instead of just stamping the 1 or 2 images I might want to use on a page is to mass produce.
Here is what I'm talking about
I take out several stamp sets and a lot of inks. Spread it all out on my kitchen island and start stamping. I set a goal to fill 1 sheet of cardstock but sometimes I do more. I don't overthink which colors I'll use or even for what project they might go to. The work time and cleanup doesn't take that much longer than if I had just stamped a couple of things, and now I've got all of these extras for future projects.
And here is the completed layout.
And I have a giveaway!
I'll do a random draw from the comments left on this post and announce the winner of the 25 Moments stamp set on Friday August 9th.
**update** I've drawn the winner of the stamps #38 Lisa Floyd. I have emailed Lisa to let her know that she won. Thanks, everyone, for your nice comments on my post!
