Hi again! Ann here, with the fourth installment of the Vacation Scrapbooking series. After creating all the embellishments yesterday, the next step was to fill the empty spaces in the album with title and journaling blocks so that it could finally attain SCRAPBOOK status. This is undoubtedly the part of the process that I found most enjoyable because I got to be a little creative!
I created different kinds of blocks for the album: some had both a title and lines for journaling, others were journaling blocks only, while others were what I call "mini-layouts".
Below are some of the title and journaling blocks I created. I loved using the "Around the World" and "Tape It" stamped images, they are so versatile and perfect for a vacation album:
Here are some examples of the "mini-layouts". These blocks basically had pictures and are more embellished than the other blocks. You can see I am clearly in love with the little camera stamp from the "Around the World" set :)
Once I put these blocks into the album, it was instantly transformed. I have to say, I am in love with my album. Please tune in tomorrow for more completed pages from the album, as well as some of my personal thoughts about the process. There are a few things I loved about it, and some things that I might change for next time.
I used this set so much in the creation of the album and I can see myself using it over and over again for future albums. The images are graphic and simply perfect for scrapping vacations!
If you would like to have a chance to take home this stamp set, please leave a comment here in this post. Comments will remain open throughout this weekend. One lucky number will be drawn at random and posted Monday morning. Please remember it is your responsibilty to check back and claim your number via email by midnight Wednesday.
