It is the big moment of the day, the moment everyone waits for! You get out the cake, light the candles, sing Happy Birthday, and the birthday boy/girl makes a wish! It is the one precious moment everyone tries to capture with their camera!
quick photo tip: when capturing a special moment like this set your camera to "continuous shooting" mode and just hold the shutter-release button down. That way you end up with a montage of the big moment, and will most likely will capture that one perfect shot!
For this layout I went big with my favorite photo of the birthday boy and included a strip of photos to take the reader through every second of the big moment:
Here I used two photos of the birthday boy blowing out his candles. Once on his actual birthday and once at his birthday party that year. If you celebrate in more than one way, make a layout about it:
