Carolyn entered the scrapbooking world in 2002 as the receptionist for CK Media and then as the editorial assistant for Simple Scrapbooks magazine from 2003 through 2009. I used to always feel as if I were still five years old. Now, depending on the weather, I either feel 30 or 80.
My favorite book is a toss up between The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas or Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austen. But then again maybe my favorite is a series like J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings or the Zion Covenant series by Bodie Thoene. I just can't decide!
During my life, I have only lived in Utah. But if I could pick a place to live, it would have to be San Diego, because of the climate and the beach!
The most defining moments of my life have been the births of my children. Each one has made an incredible difference in my life.
My camera is a Canon Digital Rebel. I'm still learning how to use it effectively.
When I scrapbook, I must have Un-Du. I change my mind a lot!
I've been in the scrapbooking industry for seven years, but I just started scrapbooking seriously. Still finding my groove.
My favorite scrapbooking colors are white and black. I tend to use very simple designs and I like to start out with a neutral color.
You might notice that many of my pages include computer journaling. I prefer computer journaling because I can fit a lot more journaling in a small space, but I am learning to branch out and use my own handwriting.
October fun fact: October is one of my favorite months with Halloween being my favorite holiday. I almost never dress up because I don’t enjoy that, by our family has created some awesome traditions that I DO enjoy such as watching certain movies like “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” and “Arsenic and Old Lace”. Another tradition is attending a Halloween party at my sister’s house and taking my sons and nieces trick-or-treating around their neighborhood.
