Kim can't remember a time when she didn't need a creative way to express herself. While she enjoys quilting, baking and fine hand embroidery, since becoming a member of the 2000 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame and later a contributing editor for Simple Scrapbooks magazine, scrapbooking has become her main creative outlet. She especially enjoys preserving memories for her husband, Ron and their five unique and beautiful children.
Generally I feel as if I am about 35 years old.
My favorite book is Les Miserable, my favorite movie is Casablanca, my favorite song changes with my mood—but I always enjoy listening to the King’s Singers, especially their tracks of British Folk songs.
During my life, I have lived in New York, Ohio, Utah, and Arizona.
One of the most defining moments of my life was when my husband had a minor surgery go horribly wrong and I thought I might lose him.
My camera is a Nikon D300, and my favorite lens is my 50mm, f/1.4. But I’d really love to have a fast zoom!
When I scrapbook, I must clean up my scrap space between projects.
Though I began scrapbooking in 1995(?), I don't think I found my groove until …hmmm, not sure about that one. I seem to keep redefining it!
My favorite scrapbooking colors are…whatever works best with my photos. But I do tend to use a lot of green and white.
You might notice that many of my pages include generous white space.
November fun fact: If you pop two candy corns and a pecan half in your mouth at the same time, it tastes like a bit of pecan pie. Yum!
