Generally I feel inspired to do so many things and often wish there were two of me.
Favorite book/movie/music: I love books: how-to books, cook books, mysterys, love stories, comics, literature, kids books. As far as books are concerned I love them all. I am not much of a movie watcher much to my husband's dismay, since it is one of his favorite activities. As for music I tend to prefer folky, indie, soothing sounds. I like music to relax and unwind.
During my life, I have lived in one state (Florida) and 2 countries (the US and Germany). I was born in the US but moved to Germany to marry my husband Eric. After 2 years we moved back to the States to have our daughter Charlotte.
Two of the most defining moments of my life were the day I changed my major in college to the Arts and the day I decided to travel to the Netherlands for 3 months one summer. Both of these choices were stepping stones to finding my husband, defining myself, and bringing my daughter Charlotte into the world.
My camera is a Canon 50D and my iPhone. I use them both all the time and love them equally for different reasons.
When I scrapbook I enjoy that it is so tactile. I love all the little bits and pieces that make up a page.
Though I began scrapbooking in 2010, I don't think I found my groove until... Ever actually. I am constantly growing, inspired and evolving. That is what I love about this craft. The freedom to explore and make mistakes.
My favorite scrapbooking colors are feminine hues. Having a daughter has really opened my eyes to the lovely world of pinks.
You might notice that many of my pages start out on plain white or kraft cardstock. I love starting with a blank page and seeing where it takes me.
I can't start my day without coffee. I prefer to be barefoot or wear flip flops to tennis shoes any day. I am a Coke Zero addict. Before being a full time mommy I used to work in the graphic design industry, now I get paid with toddler laughs and hugs.
