A Note from Katie
I love this photo of my oldest eating watermelon--the ultimate summer food! I chose papers and embellishments that highlighted the blue of her eyes and the reds and greens in the watermelon. The Basic Grey big letters were so fun to use for a title, and I decided to run the "summer girl" vertically for some interest. I typed my journaling on my new Royal typewriter (um, love it!).

You may have been born in January, but you are a summer girl! The temps rise, and you are in your element--swimming, skipping, and scootering till the fireflies light the sky. I love you, my summer girl. July 2012.
August Fun Fact
I have never had Coke or Pepsi. Like, in my whole life. When I was little my parents told me I didn't like it, so I believed them. Now I can't have it just cause that would totally ruin how cool it is that I've never had it!
