Journaling
I can’t believe it’s been a year already, Ryan. It seems like yesterday I was holding you in the hospital, amazed by this beautiful baby boy. Our four days in the hospital were a blur of no sleep, attempts at nursing and hours spent holding you in my arms and just looking at you. Then before we knew it we were home and adjusting to three kids and it was perfect. Crazy, but perfect. You completed our family. We were whole with you. And all instantly in love. The year flew by. I knew it would, but I still wish it hadn’t. And now, here you are. One Year Old. No longer Mommy’s little baby but instead Mommy’s big guy. But be prepared, you’re always going to be my baby. Always. Love, Mommy

Recently my Kindergartener wrote her name neater than I do. It’s sad how poor my handwriting is!
