Cherish | Vivian Masket

Cherish | Vivian Masket

12 x 12 | materials cardstock (Bazzill Basics) + patterned paper (Crate Paper) + wood embellishments (Crate Paper) + ribbon (May Arts) + die cutting machine (Silhouette) + fonts (Pacifico, AL Uncle Charles)

A Note from Vivian
I really wanted to use this gorgeous baby-themed patterned paper with my photo but it didn’t match. A simple fix – I converted the photo to black and white, which enabled me to use these papers.

Journaling
I cherish this photo for so many reasons. It is one of the only photos I have of me pregnant with Sadie. It shows Eli taking on a big brother caretaker role, a role he’s continued to play lovingly across the last seven years. It shows me feeling happy. It was taken when we thought he had a month before Sadie’s arrival, but she ended up arriving just three days after this photo was taken. I cherish this photo and the moment it preserves. Photo: March 26, 2005. Journaling: July 28, 2012.

December Fun Fact
Is it wrong that I am already thinking about Christmas cookies when there’s still Halloween candy left?
