A Note From Wendy
My nephew Wade inherited his sweet tooth from his dad, among other things. Since his dad Paul, my older brother, died when Wade was only 4 he doesn't remember much about him. Whenever he visits we share stories about his dad and try to paint a picture of Paul that is positive for Wade. Loving sweets is something that connects Wade to our family. He loves my mom's homemade fudge and learned how to make it this last holiday season when he was visiting. Someday, Wade will want to ask the hard questions about his dad and I want him to know that we will be here to answer him, that we are all so proud of how Wade has turned out, and know Paul would be too.
