A Note From Angie
For this layout, I simply recycled a design I used on a different layout several years ago. One of the best design shortcuts out there, and one that I often forget to use, is to look through your past layouts and copy yourself. I browsed through an old album, looking for designs that were pleasing to my eye and that I remember being easy to assemble. As I created this layout, my design shifted slightly from the original inspiration layout, but that’s okay! This arrangement works because of the common margins on three sides of the page and the way the busier-but-smaller journaling block balances out the simpler-but-larger photo block.
Tip: I created the white journaling block by masking off the section with artist’s tape, then lightly painting the center with acrylic paint mixed with water. It will warp your paper somewhat, but it looks cool!
