A Note From Lisa
One of my very favorite go-to designs is the grid. Even though I'm not really a "linear" scrapper, I like the arrangement of squares as a base for my layout. For this page, I started with six 2" squares (and later removed one, since it was hidden by the photo) which I stitched to my page after printing the journaling with a wide-format printer. To keep the design from being too blocky, I added a curved journal tag, topped with my title, and a rectangular tilted photo. Finally, I sprinkled on some butterflies (cut from patterned paper) for interest and a visual triangle.
