A Note From Carolyn

Every time we play the game Risk, my boys remember the story of the first time we played it together. So I decided the story deserved a place in my scrapbooks. I started with the photo and story in mind but didn’t know how I was going to put everything together. I wanted something “wintry” but not too “Christmasy”. As I sifted through my stash of products, this line of paper and tags from SEI caught my eye. This is a Spring line, but it fit the bill with the colors it provides. The polka dots remind me of snow and the tags remind me of cool winter days. I added a bit more to the wintry playfulness of the layout by stamping a border with acrylic paint. The bonus is that the paint looks like snow on the words “Let it snow”.
