A Note From Angie
Above and beyond the creativity, the beautiful products, and the artistic expression--which are all wonderful in their own right--my very favorite thing about scrapbooking is the opportunity to make meaningful connections. For January's gallery, I decided to make a page about a connection I made several years ago and saved in my journaler's notebook. At the time, I was making a list of family favorites for another layout. As I made this list, I kept coming up with things that only two of the members of my family loved, but not the third. I wrote these other things down too and saved them for a future layout. Well, the future is now! As I put together this layout featuring pictures from 2005, 2006, and 2007, I pulled out my lists of things that only two of us had in common at the time. It's a fun peek at how our preferences overlapped and our interests diverged back in 2007. A few things have changed since then, but many things have remained the same.
