A Note From Jody
When the topic of favourites came up; I have to confess that my immediate reaction was to think of this chocolaty treat. Of course I then realised that maybe I should be doing a layout about my husband and boys. And then I thought about it...I have lots of layouts about how much these guys mean to me, but I have never scrapbooked my love of chocolate.
In the name of research and needing a good close up photo (ok, I know I could have Googled it, but that would be cheating!!) I bought a box of ferrero roche and set up a quick little photo shoot in front of a window. I also did a little taste test for quality control purposes only.
At this point I saw the box liner and thought that it would make a good addition to my layout and give a little more information about the chocolates. I used a coloured cardstock, found a coordinating paper and the page came together quickly. I stamped the title and feeling that the page needed just a little more decoration, I added the rub-ons and heart, and swiped the edges of the cardstock with the ink.

With out a doubt, my very favourite treat is a ferrero roche chocolate. The light chocolate and hazelnut balls are like chocolate crack to me…I start and it is near impossible to stop. They are not cheap and they pack a calorie punch, but this in no way deters my love. If you want to give me a treat you can forget your Belguim chocolate or your fancy Lindt shells; just give me a box of ferrero roche and I will love you forever. December 2009.
