A Note From Stacy

So, I've been reading Seth Godin's latest book, Linchpin, and I'm soaking in all his wit and wisdom. I love this illustration in particular and didn't want to forget it, so I paired it with some random thoughts as a reminder of what I want to do with the passion I have. I've created three layouts in my life that are similar to this in purpose. Interestingly, they all feature pink. Wonder what that means?

Life is too short not to do somethings that matters. Tell this to your lizard brain every single day. Its just fear, get over it. Move around it. Better yet, jump right over the top of it and START. And if you're going to start then you might as well finish. Sooner than later would be nice.

Someday I'd like to go to TED. No, I'd like to speak at TED. Why not? Isabel Allende did and she opened by saying, "It's really scary to be here, among the smartest of the smart." There's a Jewish saying that Isabel loves: What is truer than truth? Answer: The story.

I help people tell stories. Going out of your way to find uncomfortable situations isn't natural, but it's essential. I'll go to Mom2.0 and sit on panel with Donna Novitsky and Katherine Center and Tracy Clark and I'll be doing a very essential thing. Seth Godin ROCKS and I am a linchpin.
