A Note From Donna
When Gabe was 3 ½ years old we started a tradition of baking Christmas cookies together. Last year we were in New Jersey at my in-laws for Christmas and he specifically requested to make gingerbread men for grandma and grandpa. He helped make the dough and he also helped to cut-out the gingerbread shapes. As for decorating, I try to keep things simple. I used frosting as glue and then let him stick M&M candies to the cookies. We didn’t have his apron with us so we had to use a dish-cloth and a clothespin instead! I love that I can see the clothespin sticking out in one of the photos. One last note, if you can believe it, I’ve never used glitter in my scrapbooking before. At least, I have never made anything myself with glitter (I’ve used pre-glittered items, but not often). I thought this layout needed a little sparkle though, I mean Christmas is the perfect time for sparkle isn’t it?
