A Note from Sara
I've long had a love-affair with the color teal. As a child, my favorite unicorn shirt flashed of teals and sequins (the one my dad bought me on a rare outing with him to the dreaded mall). Later, I would paint my office twice -- both times different shades of teal. And eventually, teal became a comfort-color when creating scrapbook pages. And while I love monochromatic pages, I have found that teal "plays nice with others," especially pinks and greens. Truth be told, I could create a layout any day of the week with this favorite color combination. It's my standby. The group of colors I gravitate toward when scrapbooking my daughter or myself. The best part -- I have tons... TONS... of scraps that fall into this color scheme! And it's never difficult to find a coordinating paper (either striped or floral) that has a combination of these colors as well, meaning my pages can come together without having to stick within one paper line.
