A Note from Aly
I love Avital’s fun scrapbooking style— innovative designs, great use of color, lots of white space, and just enough cute embellishments. I chose this page of hers because I love her take on the basic grid design. I took that concept and changed it up a bit, maintaining the unified spaces between elements, the stitched border around the outside, and the three circular elements reminiscent of her accent with three scallops. I also like how her title reaches across her entire page to act as an anchor, so I included the chickie paper strip on mine. Since I had a great jumping off point my page only took about 15 minutes, and I’m so happy with the results.
