A Note From Melissa
While I’ve made quite a few layouts not featuring my kids, it’s not very often that I do one of an inanimate object. But sometimes a thing can trigger an emotion as deeply as (or in some cases, more deeply than) a person can. Seeing this sign go up was pretty poignant, and I wanted to capture my thoughts before I forget what it was like to enter into this transition in our lives. I’m so glad I thought to take a picture in the midst of the crazy packing!
