A Note From Kim
This photo of my Father is one of my very favorites. It was taken last spring while were hiking in Arches National Park. Dad was ahead of me on the trail, when I noticed the cairns in the foreground. He had paused for a moment which gave me a chance to compose the shot.
Cairns have been used for thousands of years in cultures all over the world to mark trails, I thought that was a great metaphor for how my Father has always been such a good example for me throughout my life.
