A Note from Melissa

Spokane may be the second largest city in Washington, but it's on the side of the state that tends to get less attention. (And money. But we won't go there. :) However, our city is famous for a few things, such as being the hometown of Bing Crosby, Craig T. Nelson and Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien, the filming site of the movies Vision Quest and Benny & Joon, and home of the Gonzaga Bulldog basketball team (Go Zags!). And the big red wagon in Riverfront Park. I discovered right after doing my journaling that it became the second largest Radio Flyer seven years after it was built, when the company made one a tad larger to commemorate its 80th anniversary. Oh well. You can slide down ours. :)
