A Note from Vivian
I absolutely loved the clean-lined colorful monsters from the inspiration piece! I paper-pieced my own monsters using black and white cardstock and tone-on-tone patterned paper with small-scale prints:
1. Round the top two corners of a 3 x 3 piece of patterned paper.
2. Freehand cut a zig-zag monster hair design across the long edge of a 2.5” X 2” piece of contrasting patterned paper and adhere behind the top of the 3 x 3 square.
3. Punch two ½” circles from white cardstock and one ½” circle from a second piece of contrasting patterned paper; adhere to the 3 x 3 block to create eyes and a nose.
4. Using a hole punch, punch two circles from black cardstock and adhere to center of white circles to complete the eyes.

While all of their friends are afraid of the scary vampire, Eli and Sadie are not. Halloween ’08.
