For many years I have struggled to remember birthdays, and always felt like I was the only one. Thank you, for all your comments yesterday for letting me know that I am not alone. That it is something with which many of struggle.
Some highlights from the comment pool:
+ Monika mentioned Ziggy cards. Oooh, I loved Ziggy. Had forgotten about him. (not familiar with Ziggy? look here)
+ living in such a small town that the postmaster can figure out who grandpa is, where grandpa lives, and successfully get grandpa his completely unaddressed birthday card
+ how our lives are filled with repeats (ie - lots of 8s & 9s, or 20s & 21s)
+ celebrating a husband's birthday a day early, by mistake!
+ grandmas that only send if they receive
