Hello friends and happy Friday! I'm so glad to hear about people making lists of ideas for getting those baby pages done! Don't forget to upload your creations to our flickr group so that we can see your precious ones!
Let's switch gears for a bit. Yes, it's important to tell baby's story and that first year I know that 99% of our time and energy and love is focused on the little one, but let's answer the question above. What about you? It wouldn't be at all like me if I didn't scrap pages about myself (that's where my scrapbooking journey started after all) and that hasn't changed. Granted I am doing a lot less pages about me, but some things are still worth recording.
What about you during the time you were expecting?
My lament at not being able to drink alcohol or eat some of my very favourite foods!
My attempt to look cute while pregnant.
And some thoughts on the big day upcoming
Moon did this gorgeous minialbum documenting her pregnancy
You can see more pages from the album here on her blog.
What about you during the first year?
I still have quite a bit to document about my experiences during this first year. So far I have managed to tell these stories:
About this indispensable piece of furniture
About my battle of the bulge!
And about my nursing reminder bracelet
And I think we can all relate to Celeste's plea in this page
I'm currently planning a page to address the question that every.single.person asked me after Kieran was born "So how does it feel to be a mother?". I'm the world's least mushy person, so it won't be a sappy page, sorta like the non-sappy answer I gave to that question. I think I will do a blog post about it first to get my thoughts together.
Tomorrow we will switch gears completely and talk about nursery decor and other altered projects!
