Do you sometimes start reading a blog, then click to another, and then another, and then a few more times and there you find the most perfect inspiration piece? And being that your bookmarks are totally full, you just think, oh, I'll be able to find my way back. Then you go make dinner, help with homework, load and run the dishwasher, throw in 27 loads of laundry, comb your hair 100 times, brush your teeth for 3 minutes and floss every tooth. Then sink into bed exhausted. You sleep. Hard. Wake up at the crack of dawn, and run to your computer to try to find that one site, but alas, you cannot figure it out. You click around for a minute and then 5 and then an hour has passed and you now have 13 new pieces of inspiration, but still not that first one.
If this is you, then Tumblr is your answer. It is super easy to install if you want to create your own Tumblr bulletin board or you can go to our Tumblr site and be inspired by what inspires us!!
Look up there, under our logo. See a line of words you can click on? Home Facebook Tumblr.... Click on Tumblr. Go right now. We will wait.
Clicking there will take you to our Tumblr bulletin board. Think of us ripping out pictures from magazines and posting them on a corkboard in our room. Which you, as our good friend, get to see whenever you are over. That's what it is. If you scroll to the bottom and click on the archives button you will get a screen that looks like this.
That is a pretty overview of all the things we have posted on our "corkboard." Once you are on the archives page, you may click any of the images to bring them up in full size.
This month, each of our team members used something from our Tumblr archives to create a layout. Some opted for color inspiration. Others, journaling. And some took a literal approach. But they all help you understand how you, too, can find inspiration for non-scrapbooking items.
Welcome to our new monthly gallery, and welcome, October! We can't wait to share a new month with you! A month filled with all things scrapbooking, journaling, and photography! Let's write, click, and scrapbook together!
Be sure to stop back this morning for another installment in Wendy's week of photo and memory displays!
