We now jump from the small screen, to the silver screen. Just as there is inspiration in TV (check out the comments in yesterday's post for some more great ideas!) there is inspiration we can draw from Movies. First up is this precious layout by our Marnie Flores. She has managed to take one of the creepiest movies ever and make it super, super sweet.
Seriously, how cute is that.
Next is a simple layout based on Princess and the Frog.
Oh how I love dance costumes and the extreme "neon-ness" of them. Because the color is so bright, I kept everything simple with the black background. I was so very excited to find the frog dingbat-really, there may be a dingbat for everything out there, and I used it in a Jody Wenke inspired way-don't you just love how she plays with her titles!!
Finally a project based on a movie you may not have heard of. Chaos Theory. Because of my husband's man crush on Ryan Reynolds, we pretty much see every single movie he stars in. Green Lantern? Yes, quite excited about that one. So this project comes from one of the opening scenes in the movie where they briefly show Ryan's character and his wife making funny faces in photographs hung above their bed. I made my husband rewind so I could see it again. So. Cool. Here is my own version (don't mind my wrinkly bed.)
and a close-up
I created an easy and frugal version this time, printing 10x10 photos and mounting them on foam core that I cut. Eventually I will retake the pictures, replace the one in the middle with The Bean and have canvas prints made. Oh and for the record, did have to twist hubby's arm a bit to take all the pictures, but he is very happy with the final project :)
What are some other movies that could inspire a layout or projects-let's hear suggestions in the comments!
